Our Mission
Are you tired of sorting through bro-science and pseudoscience just to find helpful evidence backed fitness, lifting, health, and nutrition information? Well, we were too. That is why we created Ironsnack Fitness. In our first year of medical school, we had very little time to workout and wanted to know some tips and tricks to most efficiently stay healthy even when faced with a busy schedule. We started weight training during our lunch breaks, and called those sessions our “Ironsnack.”
Instead of the endless stream of health tips without any legitimate scientific proof or evidence, we started looking up our own scientific backed information to answer our health questions. With a busy and stressful medical school schedule, I still managed to get fit and healthy while helping my classmates along in their journey to fitness. Within weeks, I had many other medical students joining us for an “Ironsnack” and asking us for additional evidence based fitness tips and thus Ironsnack Fitness was born. Along with the help of my brothers, two active duty military members, we have created an all inclusive evidence based fitness team. We have diverse backgrounds, interests, and personal fitness goals.
Our unique backgrounds mixed with my experience in medical school has provided us the opportunity to help you expand your knowledge of nutrition, fitness and ultimately how to help you achieve your fitness goals.
